If you’re just starting out, you know finding your niche is a challenge. A lot of coaches and consultants go back and forth between different niches, sometimes even changing their whole business.

I’ve been there before too.

I’ve got something today that could really turn things around for you.

Choosing the right niche isn’t just about standing out—it’s about anchoring your passion to a market need in a way that aligns with you.

In the crowded coaching and consulting world, being just another coach won’t get you far.

Niching down also transforms you from a generalist to a go-to expert, If you want clients, this is a must.

So, how do you nail down your niche?

Here are 5 questions to ask yourself to figure out your niche:

  1. What genuinely interests you? Connect with what really excites you. My passion for fitness and marketing inspired me to help fitness professionals in growing their business.
  2. What childhood experiences have shaped you? Our early life shapes our interests and abilities. My active childhood naturally led me to fitness coaching.
  3. What are you really good at? Identify where you excel and enjoy the work—this is where you can make a real impact.
  4. Who are your favourite clients? Think about the clients you really enjoy dealing with. This can really influence your success.
  5. What are your proven results? Look at your past successes as a foundation for your niche. These are clear indicators of where you can excel and dominate.

These questions are designed to help you cut through the uncertainty and align your business with both your personal strengths and the needs of the market, setting the stage for a fulfilling and lucrative business.
